This is the most aesthetic Barytocalcite that I have ever seen.
From a one pocket occurence in the Second Sun Vein,Nentsberry Haggs Mine,Alston Moor,Cumberland.
The crystals are upto 1.5 cms and the specimen measures 11.5 cms high by 7.5 cms wide, by 4 cms.
This mine was finally closed during the 1930's under the last manager, the celebrated and revered, Amos Treloar.
