Sharp Chalcopyrite crystals upto 6mm scattered on Ankerite,8cms by 5.5 cms by 2.5 cms.
Good sharp Chalcopyrite crystals are really quite rare in this orefield and this one is from the very large "flats" workings on the Handsome Mea Vein, in The Smallcleugh Mine, Nenthead,Alston Moor Cumberland.
Collected by Michael Sutcliffe ,of Kendal, in the early 1970's
