FLUORITE CRYSTALS SAT ON QUARTZ EPIMORPHING FLUORITE. BOUNDARY CROSS VEIN,RAMPGILL MINE,NENTHEAD,ALSTON MOOR,CUMBERLAND.

Yellow and pastel lilac Fluorite crystals,upto 10mm, sat on Quartz crystals which are epimorphing Fluorite crystals underneath,into which pentrates a rib of Sphalerite xls and dark chocolate coloured ankerite.
White botryoidal aggregates of Brianyoungite are invested in and among the Sphalerites.11.5 x 5 cms high.
Recovered by mine explorers from the remote early 1800's lead workings in The Boundary Cross Vein,Rampgill Mine,Nenthead,Alston Moor, Cumberland, England.
