Tiny, 1mm or so,sharp,bright, transclucent Sphalerite crystals on matrix,6x5 cms.
The old miners referred to these garnet-red translucent crystals as Ruby Zinc. "They sparkled like Rubies"
Recovered undergound by Michael Sutcliffe,of Kendal, in the 1960's.
